At St John and St James, we believe that it is our uniqueness which makes us special. Exciting news! St John and St James will be hosting our very own talent show, St. JJ’S got talent.

The competition will take place on Thursday 16th July 2020, on Zoom, at 1:30 pm.

The deadline for this video is Monday 13th July 2020 at 12 pm.

Children at School will need to audition in class by Monday.

1Ms project – Black People We Admire: In the style of Julian ​Opie

Following the death of George Floyd and the rise of the Black Lives Matter Movement, pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 were invited to share their thoughts and discuss ways in which they can fight against racism as a school community. We hope that this discussion empowers you to use your voice in speaking out against racial injustice, because change begins with us.

Olive Morris

 

On Friday 26th June  we celebrated Olive Morris birthday. Olive Morris was a prominent figure in the anti-racism and radical feminist movements in the 1970s in London and Manchester. Read more about her life in the article below.
