Anti-knife army’ visits school

Pupils at the school spent a morning learning about the dangers of knife crime.

Children at St John and St James Primary School heard from the Young Soldiers community group, which is run by Pastor Pat Agdomar.

The group spent the morning using dance and drama to highlight the dangers of getting involved in gangs. The Pastor said ” it was very good. The purpose is to get these kids young and show them the terror of knife crime. We need to get the message into their minds to value life and carry a sense of responsibility and that carrying a knife is wrong.”
